~More Than Words~

52nd years of Independence Day...

Today will be a special day for everyone citizens in Malaysia. Every people in Malaysia celebrate it and nobody will have an exceptional from having this kind of occasion. The day where the invaders of our country gave us a independence, for us to administrate it for ourselves, not them. The day where no more slaughtered in front of crowded people. The day where no more plane will drop a bomb to the shelter. Today, it is already 52th years of us celebrating this Merdeka day.

Although this day will be meaningful to the warrior that sacrifies themselves to protect our country from being invaded, but most of younger youth did not understand what is meaning of 'independence'. I admit that I'm also did not understand, because I did not experienced any suffers, difficulties that past citizen experienced since the invasion of Portugal to our country nearly 500 years ago.

All my friends, be grateful of what we have nowadays. Sometimes I felt wierd when my friends did not satisfied the gift, the present, the things that he or she got from their parents, their friends etc. Sometimes I also felt wierd when someone did not want to eat the food in front of them, although one type of that food cost you about RM8.00+! Be grateful my friends, for us to have that kind of things nowadays. In the past time, no food such as McDonald, Kentucky Fried Chicken etc. were present on that time. What can they eat were just caladium that they harvest at the back of their house. They will no branded handphone, no branded T-shirts, jeans and many more. What they just want were they did not be killed by the communist and many more.

Remember my friends, this independence not just only for us to commend of what our patriot had done to free our country from colonialist, but we need to remember to free ourselves from being colonized by the Western cultures. Don't be such a wimp, when we think that using a mini skirt, semi naked in front of people would be a cool things to do. Screw with that! Our ancestor did not teached us any inverted ideology. We are the one who learn that things. Nowadays, it is our fault including myself, that makes ourselves altered our life style. It doesn't matter if you want to change your appearance, your style, but do remember where we come from.

My friends, remember that Allah, the God is the Most Powerful among ourselves. We are such a loser, pathetic person besides Him. Do remember Him well, always prayed to Him so that we will achieving triumph at Duniawi and hereafter.. =)
